Only in California

by James Allan Brady on October 16, 2007

Not only does California have the harshest emissions standards, the strictest gun laws as far as I know, but they also apparently have the strictest standards for products containing potentially dangerous chemicals. Basically that means that Apple is in some deep do-do with the state of California. Apparently there is too high a level of some plasticizers known as phthalates in the iPhone. So basically Apple has 2 choices, recall all ... continued »

Apple commercial mockery

by James Allan Brady on October 16, 2007

Remember those new iPhone ads I showed you not too long ago? Well sure enough, if it’s a decent Apple commercial, there are going to be parodies, and there are. This one is even quite humorous if I do say so myself. It is regarding a gentleman and his bricked iPhone. continued »

by James Allan Brady on October 16, 2007

Alright, so we all know that if you hacked or unlocked your iPhone, your warranty stands a good chance of being voided. Rumor: 16GB iPhone

by James Allan Brady on October 15, 2007

Alright, so instead of sitting around, questioning the legitimacy of these photos, and trying to figure out how they might have faked them, lets just go with the fact that a 16GB iPhone makes perfect sense and roll on. The iPod Touch maxes out at 16GB, the iPhone has only one SKU right now, which hasn’t happened with an Apple product in forever. So, a 16GB iPhone makes perfect sense. Now ... continued »

Greenpeace hates the iPhone

by James Allan Brady on October 15, 2007

In their latest media stunt, Greenpeace went after the iPhone this time, sure, it passes all the US and European Unions standards for using hazardous chemicals in electronics, but that’s not good enough for Greenpeace. I think Greenpeace is all about the green, as in money, although they’d like it on some form other than bills, because that wastes paper, and no electronic transfer either, because that requires the use ... continued »
