Alright, so we all know that if you hacked or unlocked your iPhone, your warranty stands a good chance of being voided. But did you know that if you buy an iPhone, and then cancel your AT&T service due to a lack of coverage from AT&T that your warranty is also terminated?

Well apparently the answer is yes, it will be terminated if you terminate your contract with AT&T. Not even the usual complimentary one time repair within 90 days applies.

So, if you have a problem with your iPhone, and you had it disconnected, but continued using it for all of its other features, you might want to get it reconnected in order to get your 2-year warranty re-validated if you will. Otherwise the folks at the Genius Bar could tell you, you are SOL.
