6G iPod not the big jump in functionality some expected

Right, iPod news time - do you want the good or the bad?  The good is that ThinkSecret are reporting the sixth-gen iPod will be launched in the first-half of August, with an updated OS and height shaved off.  The bad is that it'll have neither the touchscreen from the iPhone nor any cut-down version of OS X.   continued »

Latest iPhone issue: dying power bricks

Latest in the spate of odd iPhone-related hardware problems comes news of some owners' troubles with the AC adaptor.  Jason D. O'Grady over at The Apple Core has had both his and his wife's give up the ghost on him; within 24 hours of each other, they simply refused to charge the handset.   continued »
