The white iPhone 3GS reportedly overheats during a period of using the GPS and 3G of the phone, and its case changes color. Engadget says it turns a browner and Gizmodo reports as being pink.

Mophie will launch its Juice Pack Air, a rechargeable external battery (as well as a case), for the iPhone 3G. Compared to the current model (called 3G Juice Pack), the new model offers better and full protection, integrated power switch, thinner and light-weight.

Rarely are pouches for the iPhone a good thing, because it means it takes you longer to answer a call and you have to slip it out of protection in order to use your iPhone at all. However, this one has the added convenience of a front pocket for your credit cards or a little cash.

You may remember the Mophie Juice Pack from when it was originally released for the 1st Gen iPhone. Well come September you will be able to get the 3G version of the Mophie Juice Pack.
