AT&T is gaining a bit on Verizon thanks to the iPhone. Last quarter AT&T sold 3.1 million iPhones and now has 85.1 million total subscribers. continued »

AT&T officially welcomes VoIP to 3G network

I mentioned yesterday that there were rumors flying that AT&T could be ready to allow VoIP over its 3G network with apps like Google Voice and Skype. Previously VoIP apps on the iPhone were only working over Wi-Fi connections. AT&T officially informed Apple and the FCC yesterday that it would allow 3G VoIP service. continued »
