When Apple denied the Google Voice app it set off a storm of controversy in the industry. Rumors circulating now claim that tomorrow AT&T could announce that it will allow Skype and Google Voice on its network via the iPhone reports the Washington Post.

One source claiming to be close to the subject with AT&T said that the company has been deliberating on the decision for weeks and that top brass were close to accepting VoIP on AT&T phones including the iPhone. AT&T has declined to comment officially on the subject so far.
I would think that AT&T might want to focus a bit on fixing the issues with dropped calls and poor 3G connectivity as well. That would be a much more important and welcome announcement to me as an iPhone user.

This can be by far the best submit I’ve identified on this subject, thanks for making my day.
Today, while I was at work, my cousin stole my apple ipad and tested to see if it can survive a 40 foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My apple ipad is now destroyed and she has 83 views. I know this is entirely off topic but I had to share it with someone!
