Once opening up the page, a button that says 'Download' will appear before Quicktime, or any other media has the chance to load. All downloads will be saved into /var/root/Downloads, allowing you to use the media online, or offline.

iPhone v1.1.2 Boosts Clock Speed
While Apple continues to break our jailbreaks and 3rd party apps, they are working on the iPhone to make it faster and more battery efficient. The recent update of firmware v1.1.2 boosts the iPhone's clock speed from a CPU Frequency of 400Mhz, and a Bus frequency of 100mHz, to a CPU frequency of 412Mhz, and a Bus frequency of 103Mhz. This information can be obtained via SysInfo in installer.app.

gpsPhone has come a long way since the beginning, with practically a new update everyday. The dev team appears to be working very hard on getting this to a stable, reliable state. In v1.0.0, major changes that effect gameplay went down.

Google My Location - Not Available On iPhone….Yet
This week, Google released a new version of Maps including a new beta feature -- My Location. My Location uses the same technology as Navizon's GPS free positioning system. Using cell phone towers to locate your position provides your general location within 1000m. The application pinpoints your location, and puts a blue transparent circle around the location to show that you could be anywhere within that circle.

Hum is the 29th application of the iApp-a-Day project by Sean Heber. Nearing the end of the month, it looks like Sean is running out of ideas as this little application does pretty much nothing. It's apparently an application where you can make robot sounds or something of that sort. If you move the sliders fast, you can jam to some random 8-bit tunes that are being made.

iRadio is basically the "JesusApp" of the iPhone. It is an app we had all been looking forward to and when it was finally released, our jaws dropped in amazement. Well, iRadio still isn't the application it could be. Though there is a small team of developers, they seem to be hitting the right spot for the users, and continue to do so in every update.

Continuing with updates from gpsPhone, tonight was indeed another night filled with fun and joy for all of us playing endless hours of pokemon our favorite old time Game Boy Advanced games on our iPhone and iPod touches. Tonights release is 0.1.0 with what appears to be one or so new features added to the Emulator.
