The iPod Touch isn’t quite out yet. It still won’t be on store shelves until September 28th (I don’t care what Vincent might try to tell you in the video) and Vincent has already gotten ahold of one. Hit the jump for more pictures and a video.
You can see that there’s not much extra in there than you normally get with an iPod. You’ve got your earbuds, USB cable and dock adapter. One extra that we haven’t seen before is a plastic stand for your new iPod.

It looks very similar to the iPhone, and is therefor simply gorgeous. Vincent hasn’t gotten a lot of time to play around with it yet, but we’ll be brining you a full review sometime later.

As stated in the video — this is the 16GB model costing $399 and a grand total of $430.12 with tax. Yep, at 7.8% it’ll cost you $31.12 of luxury tax.
OOh I can’t wait to get an iPod touch. Does anyone know if they are being released at the same time in Canada as well as the US? My local stores have Oct 12th listed as the release date.
World wide release is sept 29 but will be available on shelves on september 30

I ave been leaning more towards buying an iPod touch than an iPhone for the simple fact that I LOVE my music, but with the iPhone (only with 8GB) well… you will have to ´pick´ songs before you leave your house and that isn´t working for me. It would be great if the iPod Touch had more GB in it… I have an iPod Video at (30GB) ands its ´nuff for me.
I dont think hard core music fans will by the iPhone.
