Someone once told me, there's never a dumb question. This advice apply especially to the iPhone. So if you've got questionable questions or concerns about the iPhone, this is your place to ask them. I (hopefully along with the rest of the community) will do our best to answer them (without laughing or passing judgment).
Let me list a few I get in my inbox daily...to kick things off:
-Can I use the iPhone outside of the United States? NO
-Can I use other GSM carriers with the iPhone? NO
-Does an iPhone unlock code or unlocking the iPhone possible? To the best of my knowledge --- NO
-How much does the iPhone cost? $499 for 4GB and $599 for 8GB
-Why is the iPhone so expensive? It's not, if you have to ask that, most likely you cannot afford it.

A few more questions no one is asking about....
-Can I buy insurance for the iPhone such as a protection plan against accidents or theft?
-Does the iPhone have an alarm clock? For travelers such as myself, I rely on an alarm clock for various purpose.
-Will iPhone let you use songs in your playlist as ringtones?
-How much does it cost if I need to break my 2-year contract with AT&T?
-Wasn't that dude giving the 20-minute guided tour of the iPhone boring or what?
-Does Google Docs work with the iPhone?
-Where's the best website for me to get all my iPhone fixing?!
(Well, that's MY iTablet, of course!)
-Do you think camping out is necessary to guarantee me an iPhone? If yes, how far in advance?

How about, Will Apple be developing any web applications? If so, will they be pre-loaded on the iPhone?

for existing AT&T/Cingular customers, is it required to add a "Data Plan" in order to activate the iphone, planning on just using wifi for the web....appreciate any help, thanks.

Will the Safari web browser on the iPhone be able to log into "pay-per-use" hotspots like the T-Moblie ones at Starbucks? Or will it only be able to brows free, unsecured WIFI networks?

... but read my post here... AT&T rep said it IS possible to get the phone outside of AT&T area, and get AT&T number.

I believe that there are loophole FCC regs that REQUIRE the provider to unlock any phone. The snag is that Apple has made it activate only through iTunes. My bet is that they will use this to keep that loophole from mattering.

How do you go about activating it if you are a current subscriber to Cingular/AT&T and want to keep your current cellphone number?

nevermind... I just hooked it up and I'm attempting to activate it... However AT&T are making this way more difficult than it needs to be. They sent me an e-mail:
"You will receive an email confirmation once your activation (of your iPhone) is complete."
Cingular was great, until AT&T started playing with the admin-controls...

I love the ipod in the iphone n the way we scroll in this phone by touchin screen...n way to acess gprs on full screen....Lov the way v use the youtube...Thtzz best quality it hav...Which no other phone till the time hav... only thing bad about iphone is Not havin 3g or edge which can make it slug while using net...Ny wayzz itz a great phone to have...

Vincent do you know how I can connect my Iphone music to my car stereo? I have a bluetooth box installed in my BMW and it works great for making and receiving calls via bluetooth...do you know how i can pull my playlist in via bluetooth?

Ok, here are some dumb, I mean, basic questions:
How many songs can you load on an 8G iphone?
Will the calendar sync with Outlook on a PC using a USB connection?
Same question relative to syncing with Contacts?
How's the phone quality of the iPhone?
Will a 16G or Higher capacity be available in the next 6 months?
How much does it cost to replace the battery when it fails to recharge?
