Hey I can't find the answer to this question anywhere, and it's quite helpful to know! Is iPhone going to be GSM or CDMA?!

The iPhone will use GSM technology and will be on one of the two major GSM carriers in the USA, AT&T.

It's really too bad iPhone isn't on Sprint's fast EV-DO network. FYI justin, Sprint and Verizon are both CDMA carriers. In case you hear about Helio - they are what is called MVNO, using Sprint as their backbone.

Hey, I knew sprint and verizon where CDMA, while TMobile, and the other ones that I have forgotten are GSM.
What on earth is MVNO?
And hey, what's faster, 3G or EVDO? My phone is EVDO but I'm too scared to test speed to due EXTREME DATA CHARGES...lol

the yahooooos over at puremobile thinks they cracked the code on the iPhone - by cracking the code, I mean unlocked it so you can use it on any GSM carriers.
