1. Download YouTube videos.
It is a pity that one can't download YouTube videos to computer. YouTube's video player is designed to be used within your browser as an Internet experience.
Do not worry. You can use third party software to help you to do so called Youtube downloader. There are many Youtube downloaders on the market and mostly they are freeware, such as Orbit Downloader, Biennesoft.
2. Enjoy youtube video on iPod, iPhone, Zune or other portable players.
There are two ways to realize the job.
1) Use a free YouTube downloader to download YouTube videos and save them on your hard disc. Then find a conversion tool to convert the FLV files to the formats your player supported. For example, if you want to watch YouTube video on iPod, after downloading the files, you can use Wondershare video converter, imtoo MPEG Encoder, xilisoft ipod video converter to convert them for you. This way is a little bit complex.
2) Recently, xilisoft.com released a program for people to enjoy YouTube video on on iPod, iPhone, Zune or other portable players with one step. It is called xilisoft YouTube video converter. The software offer "downloading + converting" one-step solution, one can easily download FLV videos from YouTube to play on iPod, PSP, mobile phone, Apple TV, Zune, iPhone etc.

i got wondershare dvd ripper suite for mac.
it is really a great mac suite program which is the combination of dvd ripper for mac and video converter for mac.
it is really an all-in-one mac program.
i can rip various dvd's and popular video formats to various videos for playback on lots of mobile devices.
