Long before my iPhone debuted on the market, I was using players other than the iPod because I really liked the Rhapsody music service. I liked to be able to listen to lots of music without worrying that I will buy something I don’t like and waste my money.

When I started using the iPhone, I eventually left Rhapsody behind because the service wasn’t compatible with the iPhone. That has all changed today with the Rhapsody service now officially available on the iPhone.

The Rhapsody app is now on the App Store at a charge of $15 per month. The app allows you to stream all the music you want from Rhapsody to your device. The good news is that the music can stream via Wi-Fi or 3G connectivity. The catch is that apparently the music can’t stream over Edge so in rural areas the app may not be that great.
