OtterBox makes some of the most protective cases there are for the iPhone. The Defender series is one of the best cases around and will protect your iPhone from drops, water, and more. OtterBox announced a new case line for the iPhone 3G and 3G S this week.

The cases are the Commuter and the Commuter TL series. Both cases are similar with a self-adhesive film for the screen to prevent scratches. The cases have dual protection layers with the first being a silicone skin.

The second layer of protection is a smooth, polycarbonate shell that fits over the silicone case. The polycarbonate case is made to add as little bulk as possible, The TL series is the same, but has different color options that the user can choose including blue, red, black, yellow, and pink.
