My iPhone weekly rew!nd 02:25:07

This past week was exceptionally great for everyone except Cisco. Apple and Cisco announced they would share the mark iPhone, allowing Apple to freely use it whenever and wherever they see fit.

Don’t forget to watch out for an iPhone teaser ad on the Oscars later tonight.

A small study conducted by online research firm Compete Inc. revealed some consumers thinks the price of the iPhone is too high and won’t be buying it. Of the 26% of respondents who said they’re likely to buy an iPhone, only 1 % said they’d pay $500 for it.

My iPhone conducted its own poll asking visitors to the site if they are willing to pay $500/$600 for the iPhone. Of the 249 responses, 67% said no, 24% said yes and 9% said they’re still on the fence. A second poll asking 194 visitors if they are willing to switch to AT&T for the iPhone revealed an overwhelming no (42%), while 23% said yes, 7% said they will switch to AT&T when their contract runs out, and 27% said they will switch if the price of the iPhone is between $299 and $300.

A rumor around the blogosphere reported the iPhone showing its face at CeBIT 2007.

Then there was that fake AT&T pricing plan. It got a lot people’s hopes, which turned out to be either totally bogus or simply a survey conducted by Pinecone new-ui-interface.jpgResearch.

The future of next generation user interface is here. Meizu miniOne’s top dog admitted to copying the iPhone’s design. Two more iPhone clones showed their face – called Mobile EM ONE and Teclast T59. Check back tomorrow for a My iPhone exclusive reporting a whole new user interface you’ve probably never seen before.
