Can’t wait to get your hands on an iPhone? Apparently there is a Chinese exporter that has managed to get their hands on 500 of them.
What is interesting is that they’ve posted a few convincing pictures along with a full list of specs for it. There’s a part of me that hopes that they are real. If they are, then chances are that Apple must be close to putting the finishing touches on the iPhone.
I wouldn’t advise attempting to purchase one of these. First, I don’t generally trust foreign importers of unreleased goods. Second, if they are real, they’re not going to be the full version that will be released in June. Finally, if these are the real deal, they were likely not procured in a legal manner, which means they are stolen goods, and no one wants to get caught with that.

It’s a clone. The five action keys are permanent on this clone device. The bags still say ‘iPod,’ not ‘iPhone,’ and its font is thick. There are two tiny buttons on the right side of the device, while the iPhone has the volume and ring/mute button on the left.
Is that a replaceable battery next to the phone in the last pic? Another strike against unless Apple’s done a real about face.
it’s an “ok” fake. The surface of the “real” iphone is smooth all the way across. Raphael has a point about the five action keys…obviously the real thing isn’t going to look that tacky. The replaceable battery is just wrong. There’s no such thing!
The box is also very un-apple-esque. Ususall their boxes look very nice and no space is wasted, which is not the cas for this box… Unless the reason the iPhone is only coming out in June is so they could devise a revolutionary box to sell with the iPhone :P.
