Flickr gets official app

Flickr is a photo sharing application that many shutterbugs use to allow access to photos that they have taken and want to share with friends and family. Flickr has lacked an official iPhone app until now.

The official Flickr app is now available on the iPhone with access to the user account features of the service. The app allows users to search video and photos as well as share content via email and leave comments.

The big feature is that users can take pictures or video with the iPhone and upload the content directly to Flickr. Users can also geo-tag photos for their current location. The only think lacking here is bulk uploads, you have to do each upload individually.
