In case you ever wondered how iPhone 3G sales have been distributed across the globe, a recent study conducted by Goldman Sachs Global Investment Research shows just where the first million went.
As expected, the U.S., Japan, Germany and France topped the curve, taking in a cumulative 81% of the first million 3G iPhones sold. But this isn't really news.

Austrian newspaper Der Standard is saying that T-Mobile has confirmed the 3G iPhone for Austria. The report goes on to say that T-Mobile's press conference states the device will be here soon. We all knew that though didn't we? It is reported that Austria will be a test market. Meaning they will be one of the first to get their hands on the 3G version of the iPhone.

UK paper The Times is reporting "industry sources" who claim the 3G will be "radically different" in appearance to the current model. Among the suggestions are a flip version with a larger display, and a model with a sliding QWERTY keyboard. T-Mobile Germany have surprised many by dropping the price of the 8GB iPhone. New customers will now be able to pick up the handset for just €99 ($155), assuming they're willing to sign up to a two-year, €89 ($139) a month contract.
