Apple has sued amazon.com for trademark infringement. The suit comes after Amazon plans to launch its Appstore today for Android phones. Apple says it has tried to get Amazon to stop infringing on its “App Store” trademark.

Apple was among the seven tech firms that have been sued by Impreium Holdings. Imperium says that the companies are infringing on a patent it owns that has to do with digital converters and one that has to do with CMOS sensors.

I mentioned briefly yesterday that T-Mobile was already noting that it would not get the iPhone 4. The company will apparently not get the iPhone 5 smartphone either when it launches. I would bet T-Mobile would be absorbed and disappear as Cingular did when AT&T gobbled it up so technically its customers will be able to get the iPhone they will just be AT&T customers at the time.
