Apple sent out their Firmware 2.1 Beta 4 to developers, it seems. The focus of this update? Why, bug fixes, of course.

If you're a registered iPhone developer, you're in luck. You can now keep track of how your applications are doing in the App Store with daily updates. All you have to do is go to iTunes Connect to find out how you many times your apps are being downloaded each day.

Well this is good news! Looks like Apple has started giving developers the tools needed to create applications that can receive information, even when they're not open and running. This will bring added functionality to programs like instant messengers.

The anticipation is quickly mounting as WWDC draws ever closer. Apple's yesterday release of the latest firmware for the iPhone, 2.0 beta 6, revealed something interesting about the new iPhone. The icon was also found in the latest version of Leopard, 10.5.3, which was released to Mac owners yesterday. The icon looks very similar to the current iPhone.

Yet another update to the iPhone firmware 2.0 and the SDK have leaked out. The new firmware has been dubbed 5a308. This build was released today, along with a fresh build of the SDK. More information has been revealed about the latest iPhone firmware and SDK build. The latest build is called 5a274D. The new firmware was released on Tuesday, no warning was given, and it has taken a while for details to pour in. We finally have them though, and it seems there has been some significant changes to the build.
