The iPhone 3G will soon be coming to Russia now that Mobile TeleSystems and Apple have reached an agreement. Phones will go on sale starting in October, but the specific release date is not known at this moment.

As the iPhone 3G is released across the world, it comes as no surprise that we'd start to see countries with multiple carries. And that's precisely what's happened in Turkey.
Vodafone announced that it will distributed the iPhone in Turkey several weeks ago, but now it seems Turkcell is hot on their heels. Turkcell is the country's largest provider. They currently have 35.4 million customers.
