iPhone SDK Restrictions

by Staff Editor on March 14, 2008

Apple is really taking baby steps...keep in mind that it's only a small portion of apps that are affected by this restriction. Games or utilities can still save their application status to disk often allowing you to resume where you left off when you start it back up. But the single biggest issue we’ve found is in the 100 page iPhone Human Interface Guidelines. It’s a public document, but you must ... continued »

Folks around web are commenting on last Thursday's announcement of the iPhone SDK. Here's what they're saying... iPhone SDK: Was it worth the wait? "Worth the wait? Well, there’s a little longer to go yet - Software Update 2.0, which includes all this goodness, isn’t released until June. But on first impressions, and until we hear from actual developers as to how easy it really is to work with Apple, the ... continued »

Apple release official iPhone SDK Roadmap announcement video

by Staff Editor on March 14, 2008

interest in iPhone SDK announcements is fast reaching saturation point (meaning we can all move on to theorising about whether the 3G iPhone will be announced at the WWDC, predicted to be in June) so as to underline the whole event Apple have put up a video of the full presentation. Nobody was permitted to film during yesterday's announcements, so if you've been waiting to see footage of ... continued »
