There has certainly been no shortage of rumors around the new 3G iPhone. There have been leaked pictures, countless discussions, and an unlimited amount of fuel for the fire. Anything too substantiate these rumors sounds great right about now. Alas, a discussion on the MacTalk Forums Australia started a wave of new rumors.

A patent application filed by Apple was recently outed detailing Apple's plans to set up a virtual network using iTunes. This was to be a precaution, in case AT&T and Apple could not reach a deal. The application details how the network would have worked.

I was under the impression that Apple said they wouldn’t allow code parser such as Sun’s JVM on the iPhone.
Sun came to the conclusion it could make a JVM work on the iPhone after taking 24 hours to look at information on Apple's SDK. Sun saw nothing in the public statements preventing the JVM from being one of the applications ...
