I knew as soon as I saw the first jailbreakme.com story that someone was going to go to an Apple store and Jailbreak the display model. Sure enough it happened, and now here is a picture. You don’t even need a computer anymore, just an activated iPhone and a WiFi connection. Here is exactly how hard it is, take your freshly activated 1.1.1 iPhone, and connect to a WiFi network. Then direct Safari to jailbreakme.com and click install AppSnapp, that’s it, all, finished finito. Wait a few minutes and you will have a jailbroken iPhone with Installer installed. continued »

250k unlocked iPhones according to Apple estimate
