The longest 10-15 minutes of your life!

Ron Johnson, Apple’s retail chief believes that it’ll take 10-15 minutes to activate the iPhone 3G. Not being able to activate the iPhone 3G at your own leisure sucks, but then again you're getting Apple's "concierge service" so it'll be worth it. The days of strolling into an Apple store to snatch up an iPhone without preparation is over; now you need to bring along a credit card, social security number, photo ID, and-for customers new to AT&T- your current wireless account number and password.  Don't say I didn't warn ya'. Apple stores also selling iPhone 3G at 8AM on Friday

This shouldn't come as a big surprised that the iPhone 3G will go on sale at 8AM on Friday at Apple retail stores.  So, it is now official!  The only question I have is, are you going to camp out for the iPhone 3G? AT&T says no iPhone 3G tethering

QingBar MP101 portable iPhone and iPod projector

Honlai Technology showed off the QingBar MP101 portable iPhone projector for the iPhone at Computex Taipei 2008. QingBar MP101 is a neat concept but may be too expensive for everyday consumers.  It works with current iPhone and iPod hardware so I don't see why it wouldn't work with the iPhone 3G.
