QingBar MP101 portable iPhone and iPod projector

Honlai Technology showed off the QingBar MP101 portable iPhone projector for the iPhone at Computex Taipei 2008. QingBar MP101 is a neat concept but may be too expensive for everyday consumers.  It works with current iPhone and iPod hardware so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work with the iPhone 3G.

From a practical side of things, if the QingBar MP101 is priced in the low $300-$400 price range, it may be worth it.  The iPhone 3G is a powerful device especially with all the enterprise level applications getting shipped with iPhone 2.0.  You can really now use the iPhone 3G as a legitimate business device to do presentations, run product demo videos etc.  So yeah, bring the QingBar MP101 to market and I think it should do okay.

This is exactly what I have been waiting for. I was wondering when someone would make one. Super-cool!

Apparently it only produces around 10 lumens, so you’ll need a very, very dark room.

    Cool gadget though :-)
