AT&T Voicemail Viewer app, Adidas drops iAd campaign, iOS transmits data to 3rd parties

AT&T has unveiled a new application for U-Verse customers that let them get their home voicemails on their iPhone. The app is called Voicemail Viewer and it is available now.

Adidas has reportedly pulled a $10 million ad campaign that was to run on the iAd network. The reason the company pulled the ads is reportedly due to interference from Steve Jobs.

A study conducted by Bucknell University has found that some iPhone apps send private data to third party ad servers. The data includes things like the UDID for the iPhone and some apps can link that UDID with the actual user of the iPhone.
