WiFiFoFum for iPhone

Aspecto Software releases its popular Wi-Fi scanning utility, WiFiFoFum, for the iPhone (compatible with any iPhone or iPod Touch). Running on the iPhone 2.2 software update, this app scans for wireless 802.11 networks and get detailed information on each one.

While the iPhone’s built-in ability to scan for networks is fine, WiFiFoFum really shines through with the ability to distinguish signal strength using the RSSI channel. If your mobile device has GPS capabilities, access points can also be saved to KML logs which can be e-mailed or imported into Google Maps.

You can purchase it instantly for $2.99 from the App Store. Let us know if you had a chance to testing it out.

I am sorry, but this is so old. This was available last year already. And there was a even better one available called WiFinder which would let you also connect to the found networks (if they where open). But i think Apple pulled this.

    [Edit]
I checked my itunes recipients: I downloaded it over four month ago.

  7. It is possible to say that Mother Nature was a bit biased towards Australia! Why else would she give Australia just beautiful coastlines and beaches?! There is certainly so considerably you’ll be able to do here. Laze around the sandy beaches, indulge in water sports and let’s not forget about fishing! It is in Australia you might be guaranteed a great fishing encounter at 1 of its quite a few fishing grounds and reefs.
