It’s obvious that mobile phone manufacturers are infatuated with the iPhone. One even admitted that their phone was “influenced” by the iPhone. Now another has been released that reminds me of the iPhone.

The Hua Long IP2000 has some decent features, but the only thing that really stands out to me is how much it looks like the iPhone. However, I wouldn’t try to pass it off to your friends as the real thing. The buttons at the bottom are a quick giveaway. Once you whip out that stylus and tap the touchscreen, not even the giant apple on the back will convince them that it’s a genuine iPhone.

It’s one thing for some people release a phone that looks like the iPhone. I really can’t blame them for it, it’s a good looking phone. But it’s another thing to continue releasing phones based off of the same concept. Try for innovation people, that’s what will really sell.
