Notes syncing a no go

Yeah, not a big surprise here, that notes syncing feature that was maybe going to happen, well it didn’t. Really it was just a rather big typo by Apple, but Tiger was released, and the Notes are syncing with your iPhone.

no iPhone notes syncing

I am sure someone could script something to automatically email them to you, and then they’d be synced, sort of, but it looks like that’s as close as you are going to get for now. So, if this was a big selling point of upgrading to Leopard for you, then don’t waste your time, but chances are it was one of the other 300+ new features the new OS X offers.

At best, someone might write a script that works with a 3rd party notes app and can magically sync the Mac Notes with that app on your iPhone, but until Apple decides to integrate the feature themselves, that’s probably the best you can hope for. So there is your bad news of the day, enjoy.

yeah, it gets emailed to you instead. so all of my notes formed in Leopard get emailed to my iphone instead of my notes section. the todo lists do the same thing. this is really odd if you ask me.

I’ve had two replacements so far, and it was very annoying to have to re-type things back into the Notes app. But on my most recent replacement, all the notes were put back onto my phone when I synced it again… so there must be some sort of syncing already going on. Has this already been looking into (finding a way to use the back-ups as a syncing device)?
