I know for sure, we can’t stay far away from finance activity, right? But now we can “hire” a personal finance manager to handle such activity: Mint.com application, a new and free iPhone application. Seems this app is worth trying.
This application lets you check balances, budgets, transactions, and investments anywhere. All this information is synchronized with your Mint.com account automatically.
Security issues aside, it’s a good first start for Mint, and for regular Mint users this is yet another way to get at things like your budget and accounts without having to rely on your bank offering a site that can be accessed on mobile devices. The alerts are also very handy and can tell you if a credit card bill is close to being due, if you’re spending more than usual, or if there have been large deposits or withdrawals into your various accounts. For those things alone, it’s worth downloading the app, just be sure to flip on your iPhone’s built-in security lock feature.
Has anyone tried this app? How useful is it? Anything particular on security issues? Please kindly share here.

Mint crashes every time i run it… and there are many others who are experiencing this according to their site…
Thanks for sharing this.
This App Is Unavailable in Canada. We Got money up here too. honest we Really we do.
I use and love Mint.com. Idk what that person was saying about the crashes, but I never have any real problems. Once, it had the intro APR on a credit card wrong, but it didn’t matter because I knew what it was. It just meant they were recommending I switch to cards that were worse, but I never use that section anyway. I love Mint, I love my IPhone, and together we’re all very happy :)
There are lots of excellent reviews of Mint.com out there for anyone still on the fence.
Been reading for a few days now. This was very helpful and solid information. BTW, I love your site design as well. I enjoyed reading it and hopefully you will write more soon. Do you have a newsletter? How do I subscribe to the blog itself?
The crux of your writing while sounding reasonable initially, did not really settle properly with me after some time. Somewhere throughout the paragraphs you managed to make me a believer but just for a very short while. I still have got a problem with your leaps in logic and one would do nicely to fill in those gaps. If you can accomplish that, I would definitely be impressed.
