I really like to play games on my iPhone 3GS, and the only thing I don’t like about the gaming ability of the device is that the battery runs down very quickly. I prefer to play more casual games on the iPhone rather than the more hard-core FPS titles that I enjoy on my PC.

One of the casual games that I have played on my PC before is Luxor. Luxor is now available on the iPhone for $2.99. The game is set in ancient Egypt and players have to shoot colored balls to match them up in rows of three or more.
When matched the balls disappear. The goal is to remove all the balls from the screen before they reach a hole that marks the end of the game. The game also makes use of the accelerometer in the iPhone allowing the players to shake, tap, and tilt the iPhone to manipulate the side scrolling game and activate power ups. There are 88 levels to the game.
