iPod Touch hacking comes to an abrupt halt

So you remember that hacker I told you about the other day? Martyn was his name, the guy was supposed to be dumping the code off of a broken iPod Touch. The hacking will continue, more underground though if I had to guess, but read on for the juicy details of what happened to Martyn.

Well not so much anymore, I mean, he still got it done, and he was even in the process of uploading it so other hackers could take a crack at it as well, but that came to a quick end. Before he even finished uploading there was a rap at his chamber door, quoth the raven nevermore.

Only replace “raven” with “his ISP” who received a takedown notice. Apple acted quick, like ninjas, this time. Apparently they are being a little more protective with their iPod Touch than they were with the iPod. Some think its because there is a different security system on the iPod Touch than the iPhone, a stronger setup some say, one that they are hoping to keep protected long enough for it to be viable for other devices. So, what’s really going to be in that next iPhone update?
