Target and Radio Shack are both said to be cutting prices of the iPhone this week, possibly today. The price cuts aren’t huge and would out the 3GS around $19.99, the 16GB iPhone 4 at $169.99, and the 32GB iPhone 4 at $269.99.
A source is claiming that the iPhone 5 isn’t set to hit in September like other rumors claim. The new source is claiming that the smartphone will launch at the end of October.
Foxconn is the main contractor for the iPhone construction. Right now, it has about 1.2 million works putting the device and other gear together. To cut costs Foxconn will replace some workers with about 1 million robots in the next three years.
