If you’re an auction hound addicted to eBay then we may just have the application for you. iPhoneMyeBay is an iPhone-formatted auction client from iPhoneAppLab; at the moment you can’t search for items (although the wap.ebay.com portal for general cellphone use will allow that) but it can track and monitor those lovely porcelain kitten figurines on your watch list and you can also increase your bid.
So far, so good, but the best news (for us and for iPhoneAppLab) is that the application has been eBay Certified:
“eBay has put the application through rigorous QA testing and said that it meets it qualifications for working with eBay APIs and providing users of the applications all the benefits available”
Since it only launched this week I’ve no doubt the developers have still got plenty of ideas left to implement, search probably top of the list. Considering the number of times I’ve missed out on a bargain because I was outbid by a tiny amount at the last minute (no, we’re not always sat in front of the computer), this could really be a useful site for tracking auctions about to close.

USERS BEWARE: I just checked and according to eBay customer service, iPhoneMyeBay is DEFINITELY NOT LEGITIMATE.
iUser you have no clue – go to the solutions directory at eBay – they are listed there and I have used it multiple times. It works great.
iPhoneMyeBay.com is not working. You will just get a “parked” domain. You can try the a site called iPhoneAppLab.com to access eBay on your iPhone.
