Apple iPhone release date is June 29th, and new video of iPhone ad!
New iPhone Ads Now Available on Apple.com!
The first change you’ll notice is the Cingular image replaced with the at&t logo. Eagle eyes over at Gizmodo caught the time changed from 10:15 AM to 10:12 AM. Could these numbers have some biblical or personal significance to Steve Jobs?

Towards the end of the ad, it says Coming in JuneĀ. So any rumors of an early arrival is SQUASHED!
Lastly, the ad was in very good taste, not to mention scoring brownie points with Hollywood. Could this possible be the beginning of a long, happy and prosperous relationship between Apple and Hollywood? I sure hope so for the sake of more movies on iTunes.
I wonder if this is a one-time air slot on the Oscars or whether Apple will run the ad in other slots throughout other TV stations.







Forget the clock change, I’m more inclined to think the change of contact to “John Appleseed” is of significance. As an aussie, I’d never heard of him before, but wiki Johnny Appleseed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Appleseed) and you’ll find he’s quite the early american pioneer hero, famous for introducing “the apple to large parts of Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois by planting small nurseries. He became an American legend while still alive, portrayed in works of art and literature, largely because of his kind and generous ways, and his leadership in conservation”.
Could this be a hint from Apple that greener days are to come? Anyone got any other reasons as to why they changed the contacts from Gary Knox and Sidney Bailey to John Appleseed?
