If you wanna PWN your iPhone, go PWNAGE all the way. It's much more stable in regards to the baseband repacking of the custom .ipsw file you're restoring to. I personally have destroyed to iPhones with it (which I fixed a few hours later) & never ONCE had a problem with PWNAGE. In fact, I won a competition for unlocking 4 iPhones blindfolded with only Terminal / SSH and my right hand for DFU / Restore Mode booting. -- PWNAGE is only available for Mac OS X. The ported version has glitches, stemming to the foundation of the file system which doesn't have the same security architectural components that a Mac does. If you really wanna PWN your phone & don't have a Mac, think really hard of someone who does & use their computer. It shouldn't take you more than 15 minutes to do. That's my advice.
