This clearly is not the same pattern as shown in the photo above, which makes me wonder if it is from the case and not overheating. (For the record, I currently use a black clamshell style case to carry my iPhone. I slide the iPhone out of the case when in use.) I have yet to try the alcohol solution to see if the stain can be removed. The battery charge is also showing half empty despite charging fully for the first time yesterday (after letting the original charge run out). O2 say they will swap when they get more stock. But the question is: will lots of them have this fault?
