Id like to see the spelling software imporved upon, and updated with every firmware upgrade. It really is better than the t9 systems, and the way the whole touch-screen design works, and is implemented is ingenious.

Im not a fan of Apple, or their computers, but this phone really is a winner in the tech. advanced dept.

Its not a keyboard, and its not a t9 system, its a hybrid with new technology, and its works great. The End.

I disagree also. My transition from tactile keys to touch was extremely smooth, and I actually type around 60-70wpm on the iPhone in both portrait and landscape orientations.

I think this phone is more ideal for texting when comparing to t9 phones.

Had the HTC 8125 with the cool pull-out keyboard. Loved it. Switched to iPhone. Love it. Type just as fast with less pressure on the the old thumbs. Predictive speller keeps me out of trouble.

I completely disagree.
I thought it would be very hard, but I type faster on the touch screen now than I did with a Motorola Q.

Great phone, and for texting, you really cant beat the GUI.
