It's given that most of the sky high bids comes from eBayers in countries that don't sell the iPhone yet. By the way, the 2nd gen iPhone is out now in my country, but still, 1000$ for a locked 16GB on eBay is still far cheaper than what it cost if I bought it over the counter. “Funnily enough”?
