Back when I regularly used an HP iPAQ one of the most useful upgrades was ditching the awful PocketIE browser and using one of the third-party alternatives - primarily because it added tabbed browsing.  Safari on the iPhone and iPod Touch has multiple pages, but the team over at Inventive Labs Gadgets obviously prefer tabs since they've put together a handy bookmarklet that can trigger new pages or queue up links to open later.

 Tabulate for iPhone Safari

All you need do is save the bookmark in your bookmarks list; then when you find a page with multiple links you'd like to keep track of, hit the bookmarklet and you'll see an orange flag icon appear.  Choose any link and you get the menu in the image above, letting you flag links for later or open them in new pages.

Some people will love it, others won't be able to see the point, but it's free and it doesn't require Jailbreaking your iPhone so why not give it a try?
