People forget that AT&T was the only cell phone provider that had the vision to sign on to Apple’s iPhone. For Good or bad. That is basically the reason for the AT&T connection. Hopefully Apple will open up the opportunities to other providers soon.

Tonight due to poor performance of my AT&T (2010) modem for DSL (New Service) with my VOIP provider I needed to bridge my modem....AT&T would be happy to help me at $90 per call but wait...I called waited over an hour with no answer ($90 burning a hole in my credit card) finally gave up looked up on the internet how to do it and bingo for free...now my system is running like a top...no thanks to AT&T. Oh, by the way the reason I switched to VOIP was because AT&T was charging me over $20 month for a simple voice line with no add/on. Again...Apple save your self image...run from AT&T.
