Loading ...Probably one of the biggest games to hit the iPhone and the iPod touch, EA's Spore Origins was released today and is now available for download from the App Store. As a miniature version of Spore, which was released yesterday for PCs, Origins is pretty complete in and of itself.
There are several differences between Spore Origins and the PC game. For instance, the mobile version uses the accelerometer to tilt, turn and twist your way through the "primordial ooze." You can also pinch, pull and otherwise manipulate your creature with the Creature Editor using touch. Plus, you can skin your created creature with photos of your choosing.
Currently, there are two game modes for Origins--Evolution and Survival. With 30 levels in all, this seems to be the most complete and in depth game for the iPhone I've seen yet. You can download it now for $9.99.
