I'm happy to say that my new iPhone 3G is working great, however, it seems that other people's phones are feeling a bit...yellow. That is to say that their display has a slightly yellow tint to it. Check out the comparison pictures below.
While I can certainly see a difference in the colors of the two phones, I think it is possibly explained by simply a different color temperature, rather than a faulty screen. With that in mind, I wish I had an older 2.5 model around for a side-by-side comparison since I don't see an issue with my screen.
Are any of you guys noticing this yellow hue? I'd be interested to hear just how many of you are noticing this, and whether or not it quite as visible without being next to an original iPhone.

Apple has already said it’s designed like that.
I never noticed it until i compared them using a white page. Its there but not noticeable unless you put them side by side.
My only worry is battery life didn’t last all day today. I know I was using it more on Utube to show people how good it was but not for prolonged periods and by tonight it was showing low battery warning.
Had Bluetooth off but WiFi and Push email on. Will turn them off and only turn on when needed and see. Love the phone but worried about battery life
i noticed it today when i wasn’t looking at the phone straight on but from an angle.. it didn’t seem to be a huge deal to me.
Yea my girlfriend has an iphone so i compared her next to mine and mine is wayy much more tinted yellow than hers. i even put the brightness the same and its wayy different mine looks like crap. Why is this?
