The reason is because to initiate a "SkypeOUT" phone call, it has to dial your iPhone first (wasting cellular minutes) and than it connects with the party you are trying to dialing to create a conference call. So you are not saving any minutes at all. The the point of VOIP, when you are at home doing your "peak minutes" hours, you want to use VOIP and when you are "off peak" 7PM or 9PM, you don't care and just use your Cell Phone. With SOONR, you just don't save any minutes at all. Good try. Maybe it's good for people who want to dial internationally from their cell phone but pointless for people who want to make USA to USA loca/long distance calling.
