Sidekick team to produce the GPhone?

Well, it looks like we have more Google phone info hot of the rumor mill. Google is apparently hiring the creators of the Sidekick to help develop their upcoming phone.

This would be a smart move I think, Google has no experience in making hardware products, let alone a mobile phone. The Sidekick team obviously knew what they were doing when they launched their product with T-Moble a couple of years ago.

It does bring to mind a question though. Why bother hiring a bunch of individual people to work on a product, only to just hire an entire team to do the same thing. Maybe they figure that the more people that they have working on it the better off they are.
