No 3G (like the iPhone) might be a sign that 3G uses too much battery, so we shouldn’t expect 3G befoe atleast 2nd generation of these new phones.

Where would you keep all your video, mp3 etc with 50MB memory? You can’t even keep a tv-episode on this. Or else you have to spend a lot of money on high capacity SD cards. No thanks! I’ll stick to iPhone so far…

One thing (might) be better with this phone: You can choose other mobile services. Allthough I’m in Denmark, and AT&T’s 2-year subscription plan isn’t legal here. Phonecompanies in Denmark can max. keep you for 6 months (or 12 months for business customers).

I’ve been flirting with the Sprint 8830 World Phone. Trust me, it’s day and night using the iPhone on ATT’s EDGE versus Sprint’s speedy broadband like network. Life sucks without 3G.

Keep an eye out for Sprint’s new initiative called Wimax due out sometime next year.

I don’t think so. I can’t really get into it yet, but as far as I know, the OS will be proprietary.

Battery is might be on the weaker side, but if the case is anything like the Upstage, it will be packed with an “external” battery built-in to it.

Samsung has some nice phones indeed, but almost none of them synchronises nicely with a Mac!! Definitely not the latest, more expensive versions…
