So Safari has come to the PC. While I’m not so sure that masses of people are going to be switching over to Apple’s browser, this is good news for developers. Since we know that the 3rd party apps will be based in Safari, this will bring the ability to access Web 2.0 content on 3 major platforms. This will really make Safari the first platform for Web 2.0 that is available on Macs, PC’s and mobile phones. Definitely a good move by Apple.
Thanks Dan

Well, I know I’ve been browsing internet with Apple’s Safari for just a couple of days, but I’m unimpressed. I have a broadband connection (1mb/sec), but load of pages is slower than with Opera (my default browser). I only use Microsoft’s Explorer when pages are designed to just load on it.
Maybe I expected too much from Safari, taking in mind is just the first version of Safari for a Windows environment.
