I haven’t been able to confirm this on my own, and there is nothing distinctive on the site that says they have been bough out. There is a hint to the fact that the reason the software hasn’t been released is due to some “Technical Issues” with their business side of things.

However, the people over at CrunchGear have apparently received and email from the company stating that the company’s operation has grown (how? They weren’t even selling anything yet) and that they were bought by a larger company in their country. They apparently also have a new billing system, which is smart since wire transfers sound highly skeptical (thanks to Nicaragua, joking).
Maybe this takeover and the new billing system will allow for the sale of single unlocks instead of having to drop a minimum of $1600 for 50 licenses. Or maybe it could be Apple or AT&T’s European counterparts buying the company to silence them, regardless, we will hopefully have more news soon.
iPhoneSimFree Gets Bought Out! [via CrunchGear]

It would just be nice if one of the supposed iPhone unlocking companies stepped up and started selling to the regular folks…

Actually the original story is at http://www.techomical.com. Crunch gear took it from them I think.
