I have been using the Jott Service for a while now and in my opinion and experience with the service, it is one of the best transcription services out there. I use it for note taking, sending text to friends while i drive, and more recently on the iphone to take notes and todo list on the the phone. I will agree with you that the time allotted for recording is insufficient, but other than that the app and the service i really great.
