...and theres nowhere to plug it in to charge.
huh? Of course there is. The dock connector. Just like any iPod, you'll plug it into your computer's USB port and it will charge. If we continue the iPod analogy, there will be a plethora of accessories that will allow you to charge iPhone from a power brick or automobile. I’m sure disposable battery packs will also arrive much like the ones you can pick up for a few bucks from convenience stores that you plug directly into your phone or iPod. I’m not saying those are the best solutions, but that solutions will be abundant as they are now for the iPod.

I dont see how the apple doesnt even allow you to carry an extra batter so you can replace it if it runs out and theres nowhere to plug it in to charge.

Are they going to provide some syncing software as well? I kind of doubt that iTunes will allow it to continue normal services knowing it's not being used in conjunction with the AT&T agreement. After all, an iTunes account is *required* for setup. It will definitely be interesting to see how this plays out.
